Mobile Technology Exercise

For this exercise we had to find a new and interesting way of producing mobile phone content. Vincent came up with the idea of lining all of our phones up with the camera feature on and having the back phone take the snap shot. I then thought about what we could take a photo of. I google image searched "camera phone" and found an image of a phone taking a photo. The photo came out well and will be posted soon.
After the image was taken we had some problem transfering the photo onto Vincent's phone which has a constant open connection to the internet. All of the pictures saved on Vincent's phone are directly transfered online. Keith's and Vincent's phones would not connect via bluetooth. If the connection was successful the exercise would have been flawless because Vincent's phone was able to do so much. This is also the reason the photo is not featured. We were unable to transfer it to Vincent's phone so unable to throw it on the internet.
Keith will now go home and upload the image to his computer and email it to myself and Vincent.
One method we could have used to transfer the photo onto Vincent's phone is also an economic factor as well MMS. Pictures taken on mobile phones are often sent to other phones via MMS. It is used when phones are out of the proximity of bluetooth. MMS costs slightly more than an SMS and is used widely by people on holidays in particular.
I do not think that phone personalisation is too important in terms of content production for my web site. This is mainly because i do not use my phone too often as a means of picture taking.
